Proportion (Inverse)

Algebra PowerPoint Presentation

Proportion (Inverse)

This follows a similar structure to Direct Proportion. This presentation on inverse proportion is introduced by considering the decreasing cost of hiring a van as the number of people increases. We then go on to look at standard examples such as Boyle's Law, time taken for a rocket to the moon, and the inverse square law for intensity of light and magnetism. This is a very nice presentation on inverse proportion and you can even switch the torch on to project the beam of light.
