Interest 2 (Compound)

This is a PowerPoint math or maths presentation on Compound Interest.
We start by explaining the difference between simple and compound interest then move on to a variety of problems. We start by looking at the “long method” of working out the amount at the end of each year before recalculating for the next year. We then introduce the more efficient multiplicative method and encourage students to adopt this where appropriate. Again there are a wide variety of teacher examples and student questions. Worksheets included.
