This is a PowerPoint math or maths presentation on speed distance and time.
The idea of compound measure is introduced and a wide variety of example questions and student questions follow. These include calculating, either the speed, distance or time taken for situations involving, cars, trains, runners, motor bikes, cyclists, aircraft etc. A couple of slides towards the end allow the students to calculate the speed of light and the distance to the moon. There are lots of nice graphics to help hold student interest. Worksheets are included.
