Bethan and her parents are moving into a new house and she has been given a budget to furnish and design a layout for her bedroom. She is starting from scratch so she has to paint, carpet and furnish the room all within budget. A catalogue of furniture is made available to her showing prices and dimensions of the furniture. Bethan has to come up with two different design layouts for her room on the scale drawing worksheet provided (Slide 18 gives a sample solution that you can display if needed).
