Carry on Flying + Find the Cubes.
In the first one we are talking about Hamiltonian paths of course.
So can a fly get around all vertices of a dodecahedron?
We ask the students to use the supplied worksheets with the schlegel diagrams to try to find a route. An animated solution is given when required.
The second one is of course a Hexominoe problem. Once they have found the missing ones early on, there is the option to have a go at finding all 11 solutions from the 35 hexominoes (worksheet for this is supplied). An excellent teacher resource.
