This is a 5 star introduction to measuring and estimating bearings. Gives the definition of bearings and features a moving 360 angle measurer. A class discussion on the uses of bearings in real life, leads naturally onto the work of Air Traffic Controllers and the use of a Radar Screen. A second radar screen features a "best controller competition". You will not be able to keep them in their seats with the excitement generated by this activity, the worksheet for which is included.
