This is a very nice introduction to mathematical enlargement. There are lots of nice, large colourful shapes on a grid that are enlarged by various scale factors and they help a lot with the clarity of explanations.
Fractional scale factors are also introduced and there is an extension activity on areas and volumes towards the end. There are some printable worksheets that students can use to enlarge objects related to some of the questions.
Will go down very well.
