Festive Maths PowerPoint Presentation

 |
A new Christmas presentation for 2011.
Part A: WHICH CRACKERS CANNOT BE PULLED?
Each of the 40 crackers is numbered, each number being the answer to a question. Matching the answers to the numbered crackers means that they can be pulled.
One (or more) of the crackers have numbers that do not match any answers and so cannot be pulled. The object is to find out which.
A fairly simple activity (easy to edit to match your group). Could be used as an extended mental activity or just a bit of fun in class. A printable worksheet is included if needed.
Part B: CODED CHRISTMAS LIST
Firstly, you have to use the de-coder. Using it correctly will produce an anagram of the name of a Christmas present. Re-arrange the letters to find the present. There are 7 presents to decode in total. You can edit the questions if you wish or use the template supplied. A printable worksheet is included if needed.
A couple of slightly different activities for use this Christmas.
